The cellar was designed by architect Arnaldo Pimentel Barbaosa and is incorporated in the main 17th century house where our family has lived for several generations. It is equiped with some oh the best technology in the wine industry with the objective to bring out every detail in the superb quality of our grapes. Nevertheless we have held on to the richest of local traditions, for example, we still prepare Vinho Verde Tinto (mature green wine) as it was originally done, inside gigantic wooden tubs called lagares where they are treaded on the by dancing framers in a process called the pisa.
